FAQs - Agreement Questions

I NEED MORE MUSIC, HOW DO I ADD ADDITIONAL ALBUMS OR LIBRARIES TO MY CURRENT AGREEMENT?
If you have a General Agreement (Per-Use), you already have access to all of our music online at www.KILLERTRACKS.com (if you do not already have access to the site, please speak to your Account Representative).

If you have an Annual or Multi-Year Agreement, you may add additional individual digital albums at a nominal yearly fee for the balance of your agreement. In most cases the fee for a whole album is less than the cost of one Laserdrop™. Further, full libraries can be added on a pro-rated basis depending upon the number of months left in your contract.

CAN I SWAP ALBUMS IN THE MIDDLE OF MY ANNUAL BLANKET?
No, but you may add albums to your current contract for a nominal fee. (See above)

WHAT IF I HAVE A GENERAL AGREEMENT (PER-USE AGREEMENT) AND WISH TO CONVERT IT TO AN ANNUAL AGREEMENT. CAN I DO SO?
Yes, you may convert a General Agreement to an Annual Agreement at any time. Any credit remaining on your General Agreement may be applied to the new Annual Agreement.

HOW DO I LICENSE MUSIC THAT IS OUTSIDE OF THE SCOPE COVERED BY MY ANNUAL AGREEMENT?
If you wish to use music in a clearance category not covered by your Annual Agreement, you should license its usage as a Laserdrop™ and submit a Killer Tracks License Application to obtain the necessary clearance for that production.

WHY MUST I REPORT USAGE UNDER MY ANNUAL AGREEMENT?
Registering music usage is required under Annual Agreements for three reasons. First, by logging the music you have used on behalf of your company and for your clients, you enable us to indemnify you for that usage. Without the log, we are unable to indemnify unidentified usage. Second, understanding the music that you, and all of our other clients, are using enables us to produce new music in the genres that are most popular. Third, this report is the only means of crediting those composers whose music you are using for your productions.
